Anyway, I just wanted to pop in and tell you I couldn't feel more blessed this holiday season. Even though it seems like there is never enough time in the day to get everything done, I still am overwhelmed with daily blessings. Even though my entire family will not be here for Christmas this year, I still feel so blessed to have family. I guess for me, that's what makes the holidays special, be thankful for all the blessings we have all year long!

Oh Christmas Tree!
Please don't judge him by his size. He fit my washtub! Lol Not sure I have ever had a tree this small, but he is growing on me. I have been wanting to use my washtub for a Christmas tree for years. So this year I said, let's do it! I can at least say I didn't have to move any furniture around to make space to put him! That was really nice! The other thing, did you notice my star bursts? I was playing with my camera to see how big I could get the star bursts with the Christmas tree lights! Yes! I should have been doing laundry! Ha! Remember, bigger is not always better!
Blessings Always!

Vintage Christmas
Happy Holidays! I hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving! Ours was wonderful! Of course the day after Thanksgiving my Christmas hormones start kicking in! Instead of shopping on Black Friday, I chose to pack away all my Fall decorations and started shopping around the house for my front porch display! I wasn't really sure where I was going this year with my decorations, mostly because I got a wild hair this Spring and painted my front door a beachy blue! Eeeek! I love it!
With that said, I started shopping around the house and pulled some of my vintage items together. I wasn't really for sure the sign on the door would work, but I kept thinking it would be so cool hanging on the door. The sign is painted on an old crate and really heavy. So I decided to stick a 1/2 inch foam weather stripping around it (found at Home Depot) to prevent it banging up my door and used a staple gun to attach the greenery, pine cones, etc, taken off an old (I mean old) wreath that was in my Goodwill pile. I really liked how it turned out. The rest of my vintage items went in my old rusted through old red wagon. This could be the last year to use him. He was pretty rusted when I bought it for $5 bucks, but I knew I could get enough use out of it before the bottom rusted through. He is hanging in there strong!!
Blessings Always
